SAINT-GOBAIN 2300-5R Features
- Durable: UHMW-PE has better wear resistance than some types of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and Teflon (fluorinated polyethylene). Its wear resistance is up to 5 times that of stainless steel, making it an ideal companion for surface protection/ heavy-duty bearing applications, extending the surface lifespan.
- Low friction coefficient: the surface of the substrate material is smooth, with a friction coefficient as low as 0.11, which is only slightly higher than that of PTFE.
- Extremely low moisture absorption rate: capable of withstanding various environments in contact with water or chemicals, making it an excellent general-purpose tape material.
- Sound damping: UHMW-PE has excellent shock energy absorption properties and damping characteristics, which can effectively reduce noise and vibration during the operation of equipment.
- Good value for money: the cost-effectiveness of humans is, compared to PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene resin tape), greater for UHMWPE.
